The year is 2079 and technological interventions have become the new norm. It makes our jobs easier and more efficient. It replaces our traditional system which could be incredibly bothersome, especially when dealing in the domain of quantities. Having said that, schools and colleges are no exception to this technology-driven reality of the future.

Reimagining Education: Technology&rsquo;s Role in Addressing Education Challenges is an initiative by Veda School/College Management System which aims to bring educators together and spark a conversation surrounding the integration of technology in the schools and colleges of a particular region. Through this event, Veda hopes to carry the mantle that leads educational institutions toward a digital ecosystem. We intend to talk about the good and the bad alike, so we are able to comprehend the nature of, and the need for interventions as a single unit.&nbsp;

We hope to collaborate with schools and colleges in different regions of Nepal through several events as part of the Reimagining Education series, and this time we are crossing the final milestone before the city of Butwal. We hope that through our efforts and support from approximately 400 educational institutions in Butwal and nearby areas spanning the districts of Kapilvastu, Rupandehi, and Nawalparasi, we are able to build a strong foundation for the digitization of education in the region.

Thoughtful intentions, calculated persistence, resilient mindset, and a desire to do good. This has been Veda&rsquo;s mantra of sustainability over the past few years that it has been serving schools and colleges in Nepal. Following the same chain of thoughts, we have now arrived at our first junction from where we hope to cultivate possibilities that will help us make a national impact in terms of transforming education with technology.&nbsp;

Veda is organizing the event &ldquo;Reimagining Education : Technology&rsquo;s Role in Addressing Education Challenges&rdquo; on March 12th in Bharatpur, which is aimed at being the more tangible manifestation of this junction, and is also complemented by our physical expansion in Chitwan. This event is sponsored by <a href="https://blog.esewa.com.np/about-esewa/">eSewa Pvt. Ltd.</a> and <a href="https://worldlink.com.np/">Worldlink Communications Ltd.</a> to support our drive of incorporating digital solutions into education.

Through this event Veda intends to strengthen its philosophy of technological advancement when it comes to education. Several local and even schools from Veda&rsquo;s current clientele will attend this event in Chitwan to add to this process of evolution that we all find ourselves heading towards.&nbsp;

Educators and students find themselves in a precarious position at this time. On one hand, the pandemic threw the entire world off balance, and the educational landscape also finds itself struggling to return to normalcy. However, on the other hand, these disruptions in education have also rendered it necessary for us to consider: What exactly is normalcy now? Traditional ways or Digital autonomy?&nbsp;

At Reimagining Education : Technology&rsquo;s Role in Addressing Education Challenges, we hope to spark this very conversation about the future of education and the best strategy to ensure that Nepal can match the levels of education in developed countries. The festival of lights is upon us. Every year we are led into an enthusiasm guided by the lights, a mere few days after the great festival of Dashain. That&rsquo;s right, it&#39;s Tihar time!!!

Veda wishes a Happy Tihar/Deepawali to everyone celebrating. May this Tihar bring all the light into your lives to kick out any sort of darkness that threatens to dull your aurora. On top of that, this is also an opportunity to give you a chance to ease your transition through the post-holiday blues. We know it&#39;s real, it hurts to go back to your regular routine after such a festive stretch.&nbsp;

On top of wishing you all a Happy Tihar, the other intention of this post is something else. We all know how important pets have been for humankind since as far as we can remember. While everyone loves their pets, Nepal has a special day for dog owners. Yup, we all know what that is. The Kukur Tihar!!

This year we have decided to do something really cool. We all love looking at pictures of pets, don&rsquo;t we? In an attempt to show and share just how awesome your pet is, on the occasion of Kukur Tihar 2021, Veda brings you a tiny little event: Veda Super-Pets 2021. We are not just limiting this to dog owners because, hey, every pet is awesome! We know what you&rsquo;re thinking. As the British man said, &ldquo;wicked!&rdquo;. Right?&nbsp;

The drill&rsquo;s simple. All you have to do is take a picture of your pet, preferably with you or someone else in the picture too. Share the picture on Facebook with the hashtag #VedaSuperPets and tag Veda on the post. It&#39;s as simple as that. The picture that gets the most likes will get their hands on a mystery prize. What it is, we can&rsquo;t reveal until after the event is over.

Introduction

In 2020, the entire education landscape shifted, adapting to uncertainty like never before. Many schools and colleges moved to digital platforms, paving the way to a new era for education and learning. It has been a rough year, and 2021 is no exception to this. Still, in working together to keep each other safe and to pursue digitization in education, we are all finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

To celebrate and recognize the efforts of schools, teachers, and students, Veda introduces &lsquo;Haat, Haat ma Shikshya&rsquo; a month-long Facebook campaign, starting from June 23,2021&nbsp;powered by <a href="https://khalti.com/school-fee-payment/">Khalti</a>. The campaign aims to create a platform during COVID&nbsp;for Veda users (teachers and students) to share their experience via videos in managing and learning through an online platform during COVID and how Veda has helped them in the process. In addition, Veda and Khalti also encourage teachers and students who do not use Veda as their Management Information System (MIS) software and digital learning platform to participate and share their stories via videos on how they are managing classes in these turbulent times.

With more and more schools going digital, it is time to reshape the future of education. It now is the perfect opportunity for you to share your videos and win exciting prizes!

	Veda must receive all entries by the closing date specified in the competition. Veda or Khalti will take no responsibility for any misdirection, loss&nbsp;for technical or other reasons, or received after the closing date.

	By entering this competition, an entrant indicates his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

	Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

	The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Facebook within seven days of the closing date. Suppose the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
